While wandering around Lilyfield one hot afternoon in Jan 2025, baby sleeping in the pram, 4 months postpartum, I stumbled across a street that inspired me to create. Seeing all the beautiful trees, inner west abodes, white painted fences, red brick and glass brick walls had me heading for the flowers markets with the intention to come back here to shoot.

I put together a bouquet; dahlias, freesias, snapdragons and Peruvian lilies, took my photographer husband (and baby) along for the ride, and this is what we came up with.
